IHG Merlin Login

Are you an IHG employee? If yes, go ahead and skip over to step #1 to find out how to login to your account using your Merlin ID.

IHG is a hotel and resort brand that competes against brands like Marriott and Hilton. They have a number of different properties, offering different kinds of accommodations. Their most popular are hotels, but they also offer resorts, apartments, and vacation properties, among others. IHG started out in the UK back in 2003 and has since spread to over 90 different countries around the world. Their headquarters are currently located in Denham, England.

IHG’s portfolio includes over 5,000 hotels in nearly 100 countries, making it one of the largest hotel companies in the world. Although it may not be as well known as Marriott or Starwood in the US, IHG operates internationally and also has a number of attractive brands, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn, among many others.

The number of employees working for IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group) Hotels and Resorts is huge, totaling over 400,000 people worldwide. In fact, it is estimated that in the US alone, there are more than 70,000 people working for the company. The actual number may vary, but it’s somewhere around that.

Merlin is the employee portal for benefits enrollment, payslip, training, reporting, email, and more. It’s basically the primary source of news, HR, and corporate information within the IHG universe, and it also offers a huge library of training tools and activities, as well as other resources for employees.

The Merlin employee program is a great way for hotels within the IHG network to offer a more personalized experience to guests while reducing the cost of employee training. It allows hotels to provide customized services to guests based on their preferences, either by listing them on their profile or through the mobile app. The system can also be used for staff training, giving hotel employees the opportunity to practice various services and become more familiar with their hotel.

Additionally, IHG employees can also link their IHG Rewards Club number to their Merlin ID to access employee rate through Loyalty Connect. This can be easily done by logging into MyID (myID.IHG.com) and clicking on the menu icon to get to the “Self Service” Portal (more on that below).

To login to Merlin simply follow the steps below:

1. Open your favorite web browser and go to the login page (me2.ihgmerlin.com).

2. Enter your Username (Merlin ID) in the username field.

3. Type your password in the “Password” entry field.

4. Click “Login.”

How to Recover your Login Password or Username

If you forgot your password for logging into your account, go back to the login page and click the “Forgot password or username?” link located right below the password entry field. Clicking on that link will take your to the “Network Account Support” page (https://me2.ihgmerlin.com/static/apps/content/globalsupport/landingpage.html?reset) where you’ll be able to answer your secret questions to update or change your password “quickly and easily on your own.”

Just take note that if you haven’t enrolled in Self-Service yet, or you have forgotten the answers to your secret questions, you will need to contact the company’s support team so they can provide you with a temporary password in the meantime.

If you forgot your username, on the other hand, you will need to contact the Support desk to get in touch with an agent so he or she can help you reset your password.

How to Register for an IHG Network Account

If you don’t have an IHG Network account, you can request one through the self-service registration page (myid.ihg.com/identityiq/external/registration.jsf#/register).

Simply select the location of your hotel, create your profile, review the information, and then submit your request.

To search your hotel, enter the INN code of the hotel you’re associated with, select the hotel brand, select the country or region where your hotel is located, and enter the following information: state, province, and city.

Now select your hotel and job title, and then your personal information, including your name and email, to create your profile.

After entering all the required information, review it to ensure it is accurate, and click “Register.”
